How to Activate Realtek Sound Equalizer onWindows 7

This is how to activate Sound Equalizer Realtek on windows 7. as default setting on Driver Sound Audio Realtek on windows 7 there is no Sound equalizer. it might used from media player but when used for playing game it might not powerfull enough. so here is few Tutorial activating Sound Equalizer Realtek on windows 7.

Follow these steps below:

1.Download file : 


2.Extract file to C:\Program Files

(as you can make shortcut on desktop to make it easy next time to configure)

3.Open Regedit,then search HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software

4.Make new key as like this on HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Avance\AC97 Audio\EQ 



5.Now try to run RTLCPL.exe and see the result.

Ps: if there no Equalizer shown try this driver: Realtek mod driver (161 MB)

Screwed up my system good. Sure, got the equalizer, but it didnt work and doesnt seem to be compatible with using SPDIF out.
Nearly blew up my spkeaers

It works on Acer 7736G, Win7 Ultimate 64Bit.
I used to have a functional "Custom" setting in the original Realtek Audio EQUALIZER that was integrated in Windows(Rather the win7 had the option but the driver did not support it anymore).
But since that became unusable I had to resort to this trick!
